Finding the Significance - YoM Day 269

Eight months ago I began a journey of practicing mindfulness every day and we've reached day 269. Yesterday, I talked about mastering the self. Today is a new day.
"A myth is a way of making sense in a senseless world. Myths are narrative patterns that give significance to our existence." - Rollo May
I was watching a video the other day about Nicola Tessla's obsession with the significance of the numbers 3, 6, and 9 and how they are present in everyday geometry. He believed that they were the keys to unlocking the secrets of the universe and the answer to free energy. The video shows a lot of interesting connections to the numbers and the patterns they form in life being referred to as "sacred geometry" or the "blueprint of God". While there is still a lot left out in terms of explaining how these numbers can provide us with free energy, it does go to show how we can give anything significance when looked at from the right perspective.

There are many similar examples of finding significance in numbers and them playing a big role in our perception of life. Lucky number 7 being a popular example of something we attribute significance to. Although we can't make any profound connections like 3, 6, and 9, we have a certain affinity with the number that gives it its significance.

One of my favorite examples is the 23 enigma, where the number 23 seems to be connected with various elements in life. There is a movie called "The Number 23" starring Jim Carrey where the main character was obsessed with finding how everything connected back to the number 23. It showed how a certain obsession with something can create a confirmation bias. For example, a suicidal blonde girl who introduces the concept of the number 23 being ever-present in life:
"Pink is my favourite color. You know what pink is? Red 27, white 65. 65 plus 27 = 92. Pink has four letters. 92 divided by four, 20-fucking-three!"
Although very interesting, there are still things left to be understood. For example, how to apply these concepts in life to achieve things like free energy or solving world hunger. I gravitate more toward the idea of duality in nature more than the actual numbers themselves, but they do provide insight as to the design of the universe not being as random as we might have initially thought. Or perhaps it only seems that way because we've adopted a perspective that allows us to make such connections?

With enough imagination we can connect anything because in a way everything actually is connected. Maybe that's the true secret? It's not that we need to find the one true answer to everything in the universe, perhaps everything is a possible answer because everything is connected in some way, shape, or form? In the same way that there are multiple ways to solve various math problems consistently, maybe there are multiple keys to the universe? Or maybe there is no meaning and it's just all in our heads?

                                                                                                                    Peace
Universe
Perhaps the patterns aren't all that important, it's what we make of them that is.
