Yesterday, we talked about getting it - the hustle. Today is a new day.
To me, today's message has to to with how we live our life. If we continue to just coast through it we're bound to become bored. Sure, you could be developing your body/mind, but instead you decide to binge on Netflix for a few more hours. You could be out there getting it, but maybe you don't know how. It's because you're out there drinking shots instead of making the effort to learn. It's because you're busy taking selfies for Instagram instead of figuring out what you need to do to get to the top.
If we keep walking in silence, we live each day going through the routines making up excuses for why we haven't gotten anywhere in life. We keep repeating ourselves and getting nowhere until one day we wake up not thinking twice about hitting "snooze".
When we sing, we have to express ourselves. It takes effort and soul to sing well. You gotta give it your all. If we do the same while walking down our path each step we take will be filled with more purpose. Each stride necessary for building the foundation to our greatness. Everything we do would help serve to build upon what we're working toward. Rather than saying "I'll do it tomorrow", we'll be saying "let me check this one more time just to be sure it's right".
More often than not, that's the mentality that separates the C from the A students. It's not that one is smarter than the other, it's the amount of work that's put in that makes the difference.
Music is also inspirational. As we sing our song we'll come to influence those around us, too. Just like the greats before us, their legacies have inspired countless others to follow in their footsteps of progress. Inspiration also creates more opportunities for personal growth as we learn to see the impact our hard work and effort has on the world.
As this happens, the road becomes much more interesting and full of color.

It could be staying in bed pressing the snooze button instead of getting to work on making it happen. Before you know it 2 hours have passed by and you regret not doing all of the things you could have had you made the decision to just wake up.
