Yesterday, we talked about believing the good in others and trying to reserve judgments and criticisms. Today is a new day.
Einstein also believed that insanity is when people keep repeating the same thing over and over while expecting the results to change. In the same way, you sometimes need to view your situation from a different point-of-view. This is especially true for relationship troubles. They say that those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat themselves. If you're having problems in your relationship and you do nothing to directly address it/change your situation, you're going to end up in the same situation every time until one of you can't stand it anymore.
Sometimes people get caught up thinking that the problem could be one thing and completely miss the actual issue at hand. A lot of this has to do with our ego and how we overestimate our ability understanding of others and the world around us.
This also applies to our actions as well. We can't sit on the couch the whole day thinking and doing nothing with the hope that things will one day change. They never will until you change your life, which means getting off of the couch and doing something. I keep telling myself I want to improve my art but until I actually practice and put effort into making art I'll only stagnate. Knowing this, the question is whether I have the willpower to create or not.
The voices of conditioning would have you hear the same stories and rehash the same problems endlessly. We have to leave the box if we want to escape the cycle. When we're in a pinch, assuming we know what we have to do to get out of it is likely the very thing holding us back. It's all about perspective.
Peace
"Problems cannot be solved at the same level of awareness that created them." - Albert EinsteinWhen you're mad, your blood boils - you're heated. That's why people often recommend cooling down (letting the blood settle) before thinking about fixing the problems you find yourself in. People often get stuck when facing a problem because they're still in the same mentality they were in when they got themselves in it. Puzzles are best solved when thinking outside of the box. Sometimes it helps to change your perspective so that you can see things differently.

When you're lost, sometimes a change of perspective can help you out. |
Today's assignment: Let yourself have some time out from habitual conversations about problems and be open to the new level of awareness that can solve those problems.
